2011 Summer Study Guide Download (7-5-11)
Attached you will find three (3) files for you to download. They are as follows: (1) blank answer sheet, (2) mechanics exam, and (3) rules exam. Please download these as I will not have copies available for you at our meetings.
As was the case last year, you will be required to complete the Study Guide on-line. As soon as the CFOA testing website on Arbiter has been set up for you to input your answers, I will notify you via e-mail. The last date for the online completion of the study guide will be August 15th. At midnight on August 15th, the ability to complete the online study guide will be shut down. I will not be accepting answer sheets that are hand-delivered, faxed, mailed via e-mail or snail mail.
The new rules have been posted on this website for your use in completing the Study Guide. You can use your rule book and case book as well as the mechanics book from last season for completing the study guide until the instructional packets are available for you to pick up.
I encourage each official to get several other officials together in a study group to work on the study guide. Whether you do it as a crew, several crews, or just a group of officials, the discussion and exchange that you have amongst one another will help you be successful in completing the study guide and will help you prepare for the classification exam. Study groups are a very effective means of learning so start early and get going on the rules and mechanics.
